Take Charge of your Life!

As we start a new year and a new decade, people all over the world will be setting goals. One of the most accomplished and focused goal-oriented people I have ever met is my Uncle Lon.
Lon has been so focused on his goals-- even down to the smallest detail. For example, he once made a goal of how many hand-tailored suits he was going to own. Uncle Lon has taught me some key principles in setting my own goals. First, it is important to have the end in mind. Think about what you want in the long run, then, work your way backwards-- starting at the end or at a significant point in front of where you currently are.
There 4 Types of Goals- Spiritual/Family, Personal, Financial, and Physical. When deciding and setting your mind to a goal, ask yourself these 3 questions:
Who has done it?
How did they do it?
What are the rewards?
Use that example of success to map out what you need to do to be successful in reaching your own goal.
After mapping out all of your goals, place them in a spot where you will be able to see them every day. They will become etched into your mind and soon your actions will begin moving you toward your goal.
